Our philosophy for attracting and retaining talented software engineers is simple - do whatever it takes to keep them happy. After all, they're the future of our business. We can't expect to have an industry leading website without employing the raw talent needed to build and maintain it.
In addition to our regular perks (flexi time, free food/drink, gorgeous offices etc...) we try to get involved with tech events here in Birmingham. It's a great way for the team to keep in tune with trends in the industry and to meet their fellow engineers from other companies.
Next week we're bringing the global tech scene right into our office!
Troy Hunt, Pluralsight author, Microsoft MVP and creator of haveibeenpwned.com will be at TheTicketSellers for 2 days delivering a hands-on workshop entitled "Hack yourself first".
We're really excited about introducing Troy to Birmingham (and vice-versa), learning heaps and giving our developers direct access to an industry expert.
We're also looking forward to welcoming visitors from other companies such as Purple Bricks, Future Learn and Webroot to our office to learn from Troy and meet our own team.
We're hiring! If you're interested in joining a growing, talented, technical team drop us an email at info@theticketsellers.co.uk and tell us why you'd be a perfect fit.
