I’m a firm believer in the power that comes from a really well-executed playlist and, over the last 11-months, this is something that I’ve taken great advantage of. In fact, I’m possibly even a little too reliant on this.

Nevertheless, I think we could all do with a little pick-me-up playlist at the moment, so these are my feel-good necessities when I need a little help from Spotify (if you’re using anything aside from Spotify, I think it’s time to grow up).

Erasure - A Little Respect

Buddy - Trouble On Central

Confidence Man - Does it Make You Feel Good?

LCD Sound System - I Can Change

Robyn - Dancing On My Own

Adam & The Ants - Prince Charming

Yazoo - Only You

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Enola Gay

Phony Ppl - Take A Chance

Stevan - Timee

Theophilus London - Bebey

Spencer Davis Group - Keep On Running

Primal Scream - Movin’ On Up

Franc Moody - She’s Too Good For Me

Prince - Raspberry Beret

I am going to keep it to 15, because otherwise I’ll get carried away and be making bespoke playlists all day (please note: Lizzo’s entire discography would also make this list). If you’re not a ‘fester-in-self-pity’ kind of person, what’s your go-to song when you need a lil’ Monday morning pick-me-up?

If you're a fellow Spotify user and the thought of listening to music on YouTube shakes you to your very core, keep up with our favourite feel-good songs on our playlist below.
